This book has won 2 Honourable Mentions from the IPPY (Independent Publisher Book Awards).  It has also been fully endorsed by the Alzheimer Society. Marian was one of the main speakers at their Symposium in 2004 in Toronto, and has spoken at numerous Society functions, as well  as many other groups and venues.
 
THE LONG WAY HOME has also been featured on CBC Radio, the Canadian Legion Magazine,  50 Plus Magazine (CARP), 100 Huntley Street, on Crossroads TV & CTV, as well as many other Radio Stations, newspapers and magazines.

This book is in it's second printing and has sold several thousand copies to date, with all the proceeds being used for Alzheimer's.
